Sweet potato and chana curry

Sweet potato and chana is very good for health. For children it is very nutritious.. and it easy to make recipe.so lets start the procedure..

Ingredients  :

  1. Sweet potato:2: cut into cubes and put in salt water (otherwise the color will change)
  2. coconut:1/4 cup (grated)
  3. Raw chana: 1/2 cup
  4. Tomato: 1/4 cup
  5. Onions: 2 chopped
  6. Red chilli: 2
  7. Dhaniya: 1 and half spoon
  8. Turmeric powder (Haldi): 1 table spoon
  9. chilli powder: 1/2 table spoon
  10. Jeera: 1/2 table spoon
  11. Mustered seeds:  1/2 table spoon
  12. salt: 1 and half table spoon(as per your taste)

 

Method:

  1. First take a  pressure cooker and add some oil.
  2. when oil became heat add jeera, mustered seeds, onions{1/2cup},haldi  and salt.
  3. Fry onions became golden color then add red chilli powder and give a stir.
  4. Now add sweet  potato pieces then give a little stir.
  5. Now add raw chana(marinated from last night) and fry for 10 minutes.
  6. Now add fine paste of masala(make a fine psate of 1/4 cup grated coconut,1.5 spoon dhaniya ,2 red chilli, 1/4 cup tomato,salt,1/2 t spoon haldi)
  7. Then add lilttle salt and some water.
  8. Put the lid and wait for 3 whistles.
  9. If gravy is watery then put gravy in simmer flame for little thick gravy).
  10. Add coriander and mix well.  Serve hot….
