Egg omlette recipe, how to make egg omlette

Egg omlette is one of the easy breakfast for our daily routine or we can have it as a side dish. Egg omlette is a very quick recipe we can make it in 10 minutes. It can be prepared in different ways, like plain omelette or we can add onions and green chilles etc. Here I am preparing omelette with  finely chopped onions and green chillies. This egg omlette goes well with plain rice, side dish or breakfast etc.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Equipment required: dosa pan

Ingredients:

  1. Egg : 1
  2. Onion : 1 small, finely chopped
  3. Green chillies: 3, finely chopped
  4. Turmeric powder: 1/4 table spoon
  5. Red chilli powder: 1/4th table spoon
  6. Cumin seeds (jeera): half table spoon
  7. Coriander leaves: finely chopped, handful
  8. Salt : as required.

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl add finely chopped onions, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
  2. Now crack egg and drop the both egg yolk and egg white in the same bowl and mix well.
  3. Now heat the dosa pan, and once pan becomes hot, grease some oil on the pan. Now pour this egg mixture in centre of the pan. And move this mixture in clockwise direction like dosa.( Don’t make it too thin)
  4. Now sprinkle jeera seeds on the top of the omlette. Next sprinkle coriander leaves on the top of the omlette. Finally sprinkle some oil on the edges of the omlette.
  5. When down side of the omlette is niecly roasted then flip the omlette and roast niecly.

Delicious egg omlette is ready to serve. Serve hot.
