Pasta and potato nuggets recipe

  • Pasta: half cup
  • Potato: 2, big
  • Corn: 1 table spoon
  • Poha(flatten rice flakes): 2 table spoons
  • All purpose flour: 2 table spoons
  • Red chilli powder: half table spoon
  • Garam masala powder: half table spoon
  • Pepper powder: 1\4th table spoon
  • Coriander leaves: handful
  • Salt: as required
  • Bread crumbs: 1 cup
  1. In a pressure cooker, add 1 cup water, skin peeled and diced potatoes, corn. Place a small steel bowl in the middle and put pasta and little water in steel bowl. Now close the cooker lid. Wait for 3 whistles.
  2. Once the pressure went out, remove the cooker lid. Now take the boiled potatoe pieces, corn and pasta into a bowl and smash them lightly.
  3. Now add poha, flour, spice powders, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Meanwhile take small amount of potato mixture and make finger shape or ball size shapes. Roll them in the bread crumbs (till fully coated) and set a side.
  5. Now deep fry them in hot oil on a medium flame, till golden colour appears on both sides. Once done remove from oil and place them in kitchen tissue paper.
To make bread crumbs, you can coarsely grind the bread pieces or rusks.
